For 2017 Brochure:- enquiries@torquaytravel.co.uk

There's nothing quite like a bracing walk along the prom or a stroll out to sea on the Brighton Pier to clear heads and revive appetites! On a wild and wintry day it's an exhilarating experience, on a beautiful spring it’s most relaxing . If you'd rather ride, take the Volk's Electric Railway, England's oldest, along Madeira Drive to Brighton Marina, admiring the fine Regency terraces as you go. Why not experience all the thrills of traditional and modern rides on the Brighton pier - there's a wonderful atmosphere on this old pier which been extensively refurbished to provide facilities for the young & the young at heart. Like the city itself, shopping in cosmopolitan Brighton is a truly original experience. From the romantic charm of The Lanes and the exuberance of North Laine to the new Churchill Square, the stylish indoor shopping mall in the city centre, Brighton is a place where anything goes. A vibrant mix of high-street stores and small specialist shops selling a dazzling array of the exotic, the familiar or the weird and wonderful. Alongside your favourite brand and designer names, you’ll unearth antique jewellery, kites, tribal textiles and hand-made crafts. And a whole lot more. Since the Prince Regent (later King George IV) first visited Brighton and Hove in 1783, his fantastic seaside palace, the Royal Pavilion, with its Indian domes and minarets and its Chinese style interior, has become a landmark not to be missed. And, thanks to his influence, some of the finest examples of Regency architecture in England can be seen in Brighton and Hove. Two super excursions will be included in this holiday taking you along the beautiful Sussex coastline to include Worthing, Bognor Regis, Beachy Head and the ever popular seaside resort of Eastbourne.
